I am an observer by nature.
I observe to understand, and to be understood.
As a person who holds three passports, I’ve had the unique privilege of being shaped by different cultures. I learned that taking a step can give much-needed clarity when faced with new and unfamiliar surroundings. Understanding the habits, cultures, and people that surrounded me became the key to feeling understood in these situations.
By observing, I learned about others as much as I learned about myself. In Ecuador, I discovered the power of emotions; to feel, be passionate, and to look at the beauty in simplicity. In America, I learned to be ambitious; to work hard, push myself, and to be constantly absorbing. And in Spain, I learned to be curious; to search for truths, feel comfortable not knowing the answers, and to ask the right questions.
